Young Hedgehog is a young male hedgehog who lives in the Pride Lands.

Appearance

Young Hedgehog has dark brown spines, a few of which are tipped with a fading gold tone. His underbelly is cream, and his muzzle plus legs are light brown. His inner ears are pink. His eyes are dark blue and his nose is dark red.                       

Personality

Not much is known about him, but Young Hedgehog is known to be a jittery creature. He will gladly plead with others to save him from danger.

History

Bunga the Wise

Pleading with Bunga

Young Hedgehog is seen rushing across the Pride Lands shortly after Lake Kiziwa bursts and overflows. He is almost caught by the wave, but Fuli arrives to save him. She grabs him with her mouth and follows Kion into a deep canyon. When they arrive at a dead end, Young Hedgehog is accidentally thrown out of her mouth and onto the ground, where he pleads with Bunga the wise to save them. Bunga orders them to listen to Kion who is much better than he is at dealing with situations like these. When the water catches up to them, Kion uses his Roar of the Elders to force the water away. Young Hedgehog cheers with joy.

The Kupatana Celebration

Arriving with family

Young Hedgehog attends Kupatana with his family. When the jackals attack, he manages to avoid getting hurt and is later seen with one of his family members, safe and sound.

Babysitter Bunga

Young Hedgehog is seen very briefly during Teke Ruka Teleza, where he watches Bunga and his young charges dance.
