Hey everyone, this is my first forum post. I hope I put it in the right place. Anyway, now that Scar is going to be a recurring villain, I wonder if we will see his and Mufasa's ghosts confront each other. I doubt it, but it would be interesting to see.
I also agree that the two ghost brothers have to sort their problems out with one another. But they shouldn't fight, just speak rationally to each other and try to understand the point of view of each other better.
Mufasa would have to use defense anyway Scar doesn't mind what he's ruining or what he's likely to aggravate the problem of, Scar, he's more likely to mock his gentle brother Mufasa. Scar behaves evil enough to know he wouldn't even care if he tricked his brother and his living relatives he'd likely brag if he succeeded to do such a rude thing.
The pride Landers and the persuaded or manipulated Outlanders too, both big groups and very little choice against Scar. True it would make more sense to sort out their problems, but also Scar's probably not patient enough to really do that.
I think it would be better if the two lion brothers Mufasa and Scar could sort out their constant fighting by a solution that isn't in any way influenced and/or triggered by violence, hate and brute strength. Knowing the kind, wise, just and warm hearted character of Mufasa (older brother of the lion siblings) and after having read the novel of the new lion king movie I wouldn't be surprised if perhaps Mufasa and Scar end up on good terms with each other. (fact: Mufasa says in the novel book that he will always keep his brother in the pride, even though he makes it so difficult to cope with him.) [page 22 of Disney the lion king novelization -->> Mufasa's smile faded. "He's my brother, Zazu", he said, shaking his head. "This is his home. As long as I'm king, that will never change." For those that are sceptical about the source of the quote I added the foto where you can see clearly the whole page.
So I conclude that as the bigger brother and ruling monarch Mufasa knows about the importance of family, support and trusting one another, even though one might make some wrong decisions. That means for the relationship of the two brothers that the older one (Mufasa) always understood that values, but the weaker and younger (Scar) couldn't quiet find any ration and reason to watch out for his brother, instead of plotting, scheming and even threatening his life.
Unlike Scar Mufasa was told by his two Parents that no matter what happens Scar will always still be part of his family as his younger brother and that both alike have to help each other out and care for their problems by attentively listening to sorrow, pain and fears. If one brother acts like this, but the other one resists and doesn't the whole family will eventually get ripped apart and the deep, sibling bonds with each other are forever destroyed by breaking trust, telling lies and spreading untrue rumours.
