where they are greeted by all of the Pride Landers anxious to see Dhahabu. She enters the Pride Lands by singing Prance With Me. She meets with King Simba atop of Pride Rock, before leaving with Kiara, Tiifu, and Zuri who gives her a tour around the Pride Lands, with the Lion Guard escorting them.

Fuli saves Queen Dhahabu

During the trip, Shupavu and Njano spot the group and slink away. As Tiifu and Zuri complain about the Dry Season, a bolt of lightning starts a fire around Dhahabu, Kiara, Tiifu, and Zuri. Kion orders Fuli to get them out of the fire while they work on extinguishing it. Although the lionesses are swiftly removed from the fire, Dhahabu hesitates. Fuli comes back for her, and the two leaps over the fire together. Kiara assists the Lion Guard in creating fire breaks and extinguishing the fire.

Dhahabu's request

Dhahabu is so impressed with Fuli, that she asks her to guide her around the Pride Lands with Tiifu and Zuri instead. Fuli isn't happy with the situation, but goes through with it, watching with disappointment as Kiara and the Guard race away.

Scar speaks about Queen Dhahabu

Meanwhile, in the Outlands Volcano, the skinks inform Scar of what they saw. Scar desires to end the peace treaty between the Pridelands and Back Lands to keep the Pridelands thirsty. He orders them to fetch the Jackals, stating that they're good at things like this.

Back in the Pride Lands, the Guard meet up with Starehe and Raha, who aren't enjoying being without their leader. Ono flies up to find her.

Fuli protects Queen Dhahabu

Elsewhere, Dhahabu's group are with the baboons, who are leaping over a disgruntled Fuli. Nearby, Reirei and Goigoi watch, interested in the zebra. After Reirei's Pack make themselves known, the baboons leave Fuli in fear, much to her relief. She turns to face them, while Tiifu and Zuri hide.

"Kick and Stomp"

Nearby, Ono witnesses the event and reports back to the Guard. Starehe and Raha also join them. When they arrive, the Guard tackle the Jackals but miss Goigoi, who sneaks up on Dhahabu. Starehe and Raha become infuriated and Kick and Stomp the jackal themselves, without Dhahabu realizing. After the jackals are defeated, Dhahabu is most impressed with Fuli again, and the other zebras avoid letting their leader know that they were the ones to defeat Goigoi. Tiifu and Zuri order Goigoi to leave, which he does.  Dhahabu then decides to enlist Fuli, Tiifu, and Zuri to be her permanent bodyguards.

The guard speaks with Raha and Starehe

Leaving again with Fuli, Tiifu, and Zuri (who no longer wish to escort her), Kion speaks with Starehe and Raha over what happened.

A short while later, Dhahabu is splashing in a pool of water, when the jackals return. It doesn't take long for Ono to spot them, and Starehe and Raha race off to defend their leader.

Crocodiles sneak up behind the queen

Joined by a couple of crocodiles from the Outlands, the jackals close in on Dhahabu, Tiifu, Zuri and Fuli, when Starehe and Raha arrive to defeat them. Seeing them in action, Dhahabu is pleased with their efforts, making her realize they've been her guards along, which makes Fuli happy. They return to Pride Rock, where Dhahabu confirms
