Tafu is a male flying squirrel who lives in the Mountain and made his debut and only appearance in The Accidental Avalanche.
Appearance[]
Tafu's fur is reddish-brown, while his chest is a bright brown. His paws and ears are black and gray, and he has yellow-brown eyes.
Personality[]
Tafu is a fast flyer, and he's very friendly and intelligent. He showed a lot of respect for the snow monkeys when ordering his group to disappear in the trees again because they were scaring the neighbors.

Meeting Kion and Bunga
When Yuki's Troop briefly moves into a hot spring, the nearby flying squirrels glide by to introduce themselves, including Tafu. The monkeys mistake the squirrels for birds of prey and react fearfully. Bunga catches Tafu, and Ono identifies him as a flying squirrel. Kion demands to know why the squirrels were trying to scare the monkeys, but Tafu explains that they'd merely wanted to welcome them to the neighborhood. He calls off the other flying squirrels, and Bunga lets him go.
