The Morning Report is a special report given by the Royal Advisor to the King of the Pride Lands.

Prior to The Lion Guard[]

Back when Mufasa was king of the Pride Lands, Zazu would always give him the Morning Report. Zazu would tell Mufasa everything that goes on in the Pride Lands. One day when Mufasa was giving Simba a lesson Zazu told them morning report. Simba was chasing a gopher and Mufasa says that he'll teach Simba how to pounce. Simba then pounces on Zazu which interrupts the Morning Report. Mufasa tells Simba that he did a good job and Zazu yells out that Hyenas have come. Mufasa goes to chase them while Zazu takes Simba back home.

Information[]

Each day, the Royal Advisor will patrol the Pride Lands, making sure nothing is amiss, and the Pride Landers are safe and content. Then, he will report back to the King, telling him of the daily antics of the Pride Landers, and other important matters.

With Simba, Nala and Zazu away, Kiara is left in charge and asks Ono to give her the Morning Report.

The Morning Report[]

Upon noticing Bupu stuck in a tree, Zazu announces that he's going to be putting the information in his Morning Report. He continues searching for more interesting facts for his Morning Report, but when Scar orders Janja to kidnap Zazu and interrogate him, the Lion Guard have to save him from being eaten by the hyenas in the Outlands. This results in Zazu being late in delivering the Morning Report for the first time in his life.
