One day at the Watering Hole, the Lion Guard stops Thurston's Herd from drinking while the giraffes were drinking. Thurston starts to complain and Bunga explains that they need to wait their turn. Suddenly, an screaming gorilla comes into the Pride Lands and everyone panic and runs. Kion tells Beshte and Ono to calm down the herds. Kion, Bunga and Fuli go after the gorilla. However, it turns out that Shujaa was a friendly gorilla. As soon as Shujaa finds out that they're the Lion Guard he calms down. Kion tells Bunga that Shujaa seems friendly and Bunga stops attacking him. Shujaa explains that king Sokwe has send him to help the Lion Guard fight the Army of Scar. Shujaa shows the Lion Guard how strong he is. Kion agrees with King Sokwe that they can use his help.
