Meeting Kongwe is where Fuli and Makini meet the wisest animal in the Pride Lands.

The Wisdom of Kongwe[]

After finding out that Scar has returned, Kion and Simba speak with Mufasa and he says that they will find a way to defeat him. Simba knows exactly who they need to talk to. Rafiki asks Makini to go find Kongwe who is very wise. Beshte says that he knows Kongwe and has heard that she was by Urembo River which is half a day walk. Fuli volunteers to help Makini get their faster. They soon being their journey and eventually find Kongwe who is a Tortoises. Fuli and Makini both try to get Kongwe to Pride Rock but has trouble since she is tortoise. Fuli and Makini eventually stopped because Kongwe is looking at a flower. Fuli explains that she likes to fast and Kongwe decides to take sometime to think. Fuli and Makini try pushing Kongwe to get her to move but Makini breaks her Bakora Staff. They soon keep moving again and suddenly Makucha shows up claiming that he has tastes for Tortoise. Fuli tries to stop him but she can't keep up with him do to him zigzagging. Fuli takes a break and with the help from Kongwe she's able to catch Makucha. Fuli, Makini and Kongwe eventually make it to the Pride Lands.
