Simba[]

Mbuni was shown bowing to Simba during "Duties of the King", first showing her respect for her King.

When a mudslide threatened her eggs, Simba leapt in with Beshte, Bunga, Fuli and Ono to help save them. Mbuni was honored to have her eggs saved by the King, and once again bowed to him. Mbuni truly respects Simba.

Zazu[]

“	It's ma-un-de-lay-e-oh, ya uhhi. Remember that for tonight!	”

Zazu and Mbuni are allies as they worked together for the Kupatana Celebration Chorus. Mbuni agrees to correct her mistake for Kupatana when Zazu wants her to remember a certain line: "ma-un-de-lay-e-oh, ya uhhi". After correcting her, he continues on as normal, with Mbuni taking no offense.

Bunga[]

“	Bunga the Wise said it was the best way to avoid seeing hyenas. And he's the smartest animal there is.	”

Mbuni shows a lot of trust towards Bunga. In "Bunga the Wise", she listens to his advice on how to avoid being scared whenever she encounters hyenas, despite this advice later proving to be poor. She also tours the Pride Lands with him, chanting a song in his dedication.

The Rest of the Lion Guard[]

In Bunga the Wise since Mbuni's head got stuck in the sand. But Ono realize Ostriches don't stick their head in the ground. When Beshte, Kion, Fuli and Ono unstuck her, she

told them she give Bunga's advice she gets by Hyenas. In The Trail to Udugu she began to panicked since the mudslide will swept their eggs away until Simba and Kion's Guard tried to stop and save their eggs. Later, she began to panicked again since Swala and the herd of Gazelles began to stampede and Fuli tried to claim down and she yelling at them to stop panicking. In The Zebra Mastermind the dust evil came by but she and her flock got stuck in the sands. But Kion and his Guard free them and she thanks to them.

Twiga[]

Mbuni and Twiga are allies as they worked on the Kupatana Celebration chorus together.

Basi[]

Mbuni and Basi are allies as they worked on the Kupatana Celebration chorus together.

Muhanga[]

Mbuni and Muhanga are allies as they worked on the Kupatana Celebration chorus together.

Mtoto's Mom[]

Mbuni and Mtoto's Mom are allies as they worked on the Kupatana Celebration chorus together.

Enemies[]

Reirei and her pack[]

Reirei and her pack invaded Kupatana, causing Mbuni to enter a panicked state. It is clear that Mbuni is afraid of the jackals, and hates them for crashing the event. Before the event even started, one pup managed to steal one of her eggs, prompting the Ostritch to give chase.

Shujaa[]

Not really an enemy but Mbuni was scared to see a giant gorilla sitting in her nest. So she walked away not wanting to cause any trouble.
