Makini Meets Rafiki is where Makini goes to the Tree of Life with her parents Kitendo and Fikiri to meet Rafiki.

History[]

The Lion Guard: The Rise of Scar[]

When the Lion Guard meets Rafiki's new apprentice Makini, Beshte asks Rafiki if he's okay. Rafiki says that he's fine and shows a painting of the Tree of Life. The painting shows Makini being chosen to be the next Royal Mijuzi for the Pride Lands by the Great Lions of the Past.

Journey of Memories[]

While helping the Lion Guard find their way to the Tree of Life to help Kion and Ono Makini's memories start coming back to her from her first trip. Makini explains to Beshte that she met Rafiki when she was younger.Makini remembers having lots of fun with her parents. Makini also remembers the words her mom said which was "As You Move Forward to forget to look back." During her journey in the past Makini meets Rafiki and Janna. Rafiki smiles at young Makini and pats her head. Makini turns around to see her parents and they hug her. During the present day, Makini talks to Beshte and tells him her mothers words but she thinks she's letting Kion down. Beshte encourages her to stop beating herself up over her mistakes since they all know she is doing her best. The rest of the Guard comes up to them, with Kion agreeing with Beshte.

The River of Patience[]

When Makini returns to the Tree of Life many years later, Janna says that she remembers Makini. Makini gets so excited to hear that Janna remembers her.
