Makini's Introduction to the Royal Family is where Makini meets Simba's Pride.

History[]

The Lion Guard: The Rise of Scar[]

Makini sees Kion talking to his grandfather Mufasa in the clouds. When Kion is done speaking to him Makini jumps out of the bushes and scares him. Kion asks Makini who she is and she explains that she's Rafiki's New Apprentice. Makini starts singing Today is my Day until she gets interrupted by Ono. Later Rafiki brings Makini to The Lair of the Lion Guard and she officially meets the rest of the Lion Guard. Rafiki asks Kion to assemble the Royal Family on top of Pride Rock. Nala tells Kion that she's excited to meet Makini and Kion says Makini likes to talk, Makini shows up and starts to introduce herself but is interrupted by Rafiki. Rafiki then introduces Makini officially and Simba places his paw on her Bakora Staff. Rafiki claims that Makini will some day be a Royal Mjuzi to Queen Kiara. Kiara and Makini go to help Ma Tembo find new water.
