Hakuna Matata (Event) is where Timon and Pumbaa first find Simba when he was a cub.

Prior to The Lion Guard[]

After Scar gets rid of Mufasa and takes over the Pride Lands, Simba runs away from home. He then meets his two best friends Timon and Pumbaa. Timon and Pumbaa teach him about a worried free life. Simba learns how to eat grubs and turns into an adult.

Return of the Roar[]

Timon mentions about Hakuna Matata to Bunga when he wants to join the Lion Guard

Bunga and the King[]

While being lost in Nandembo Caverns, Bunga over hears Simba singing about Hakuna Matata. He asks Simba where he heard that song. Simba mentions that he knew it before Bunga did when Timon and Pumbaa raised him.

Cave of Secrets[]

During Wisdom on the Walls Makini, shows a painting of Simba, Timon and, Pumbaa walking on a log.
