Grass rats are medium-sized rodents with rough, brown fur, as well as dorsal stripes that extend from the head to the base of their tails.
Information[]
Grass rats live mostly in colonial burrows that have been built in grassland environments. They feed on grass, leaves, fruits, as well as insects. Females tend to have 5 or 6 babies 3 to 4 times a year.
