Finches are birds that appear in The Lion Guard universe. They live in the Pride Lands.
Appearance[]
In the Real World[]
Finches are orange birds with a black mask and black chest feathers. The upper part of their wing feathers and the bottom of their tails are light brown, with a dark brown on the upper part of their tail feathers and just below the brown feathers on their wing feathers. Their primary and secondary feathers are yellow. Their beak and talons are grey.
Information[]
Finches make their nests on trees or bushes. They feed on seeds, fruits, and insects.
History[]
Ono's Idol[]
Finches are among the crowds of birds are excited to meet Hadithi the eagle. During the song Hadithi the Hero, Hadithi mentions freeing some finches from a hyena.
Beshte and the Beast[]
During the Shujaa Ponda Reprise, a flock of Finches can be seen flying from a boulder that has been rolled away by a depressed Shujaa.
The Queen's Visit[]
When Dhahabu returns to the Pridelands with some of her zebras, some finches are seen spreading some flowers along the pathway.
Fire from the Sky[]
Finches help Ono, Anga and Hadithi in fighting off Mzingo's Parliament.
