Die Garde der Löwen CD-Hörspielreihe (also known as Das Original-Hörspiel zur TV-Serie, or The original retelling of the TV series in the original language that is German are a set of audio discs containing a retelling of two episodes of The Lion Guard (with the exception of the first and 11th volume, which only contains the pilot and Season 2 opening special. Slightly shortened version of the songs are also included on the discs.[1]
They are exclusive only to Germany and were released when the whole the Lion Guard series known there as "Die Garde der Löwen" was starting to get released with the pilot episode and the whole of Season 1.

Trivia[]
- An early version of Volume 7 included a screenshot from Beshte and the Hippo Lanes rather than the titular episode, Lions of the Outlands.[2] Why the cover got changed in the final product is unknown.
- The audio can also be downloaded as regular files on platforms such as iTunes.[3]
- The front cover for Volume 10 shows Beware the Zimwi on the front cover, but the episode is not part of that volume, nor any other volume currently.
- Volume 10 shows Makini near the spine, but none of the episodes are from Season 2, which Makini is exclusive to.
- Volume 11 and 12 will both be released in May 2019 on the homepage www.kiddinx-shop.de as digital mp3-downloads. This was made clear through an Email written from me to ask kiddinx about the release and whereabouts of Volume 11 and 12. Both volumes have been released in 19th July only as Mp3 downloads to buy from amazon.de
- Volume 12 shows Kion roaring, with a white background and leaves in the air, however this isn't any screenshot of Season 2 at all.
- Six episodes weren't produced for this audio book series. The reasons for this decisions however are unknown*
