Chimpanzees, sometimes called chimps, are apes that appear in The Lion Guard universe. They live in the Pride Lands.

Appearance[]

In the Real World[]

Chimpanzees usually have black or brown hair covering most of their body. They lack hair on their faces, hands, and feet. They have long arms and short legs. Their faces are expressive, and they have protrusive lips.

In The Lion Guard[]

The only chimpanzee shown in The Lion Guard had dark bluish hair and a paler belly, but otherwise closely resembled a real-world chimp.

Information[]

Chimpanzees, also known as chimps, are highly intelligent primates that are native to Africa. They feed on fruits and small animals, and they live in large troops consisting of males, females, and their young.

History[]

Can't Wait to be Queen[]

During the song, Duties of the King, Simba looks at a chimpanzee in a tree while Zazu notes that one of the King's duties is to advise confused chimpanzees.
