I was reading a message board and someone said that they contacted Kevin Schon (Timon, Chungu and Thurston) and he said that season 3 was the final season. He also said that there will be Kiara and Kovu moments.
I don't know if it's true or not, but since we haven't heard anything about a 4th season, the 3rd season is so short, and the information we have for it seems to be that it will explain Kion's absence in the second movie... Could it be true? Is the show ending so soon?

Its Disney's own fault that viewership is so low. For the last two years, they haven't kept even a semblance of an airing schedule.
