Ever since January Disney has been airing 4 new Lion Guard episodes in a row. One week, then having no new episodes at all the rest of that month, then no new episodes for the next two months after that. The 4 new episodes in a row around the start of the month thereafter.

If Disney had continued this pattern we would be getting 4 new episodes in July. However Disney is now waiting until September to air a new episode. Thus making the Two Month Hiatus a Four Month Hiatus.

Although this change could have A Bright side. Perhaps instead of getting 4 new episodes in a row at the start of the moth they may get a steady once a week time slot...For at least a month.
