Binga is a female honey badger who lives at the Tree of Life. She made her debut in Little Old Ginterbong.
Appearance[]
Binga has purple fur and dark-purple fur on her chest, a lavender tuft and white fur on her back and tail. Like Bunga, she has dark blue eyes, her nose is reddish-pink, and long tufts of white fur on her arms.
Personality[]
Binga is friendly, funny, loud, playful and quite undefeated. She always seems to win the contests between her and Bunga. Much like Bunga, she isn't afraid of a challenge, and shows remarkable bravery no matter what the circumstances.
History[]
Little Old Ginterbong[]
Baliyo introduces Bunga to Binga. Binga finds a friend in Bunga and they compete in a series of contests to see who is the better honey badger. So the two then proceed to have the ultimate honey badger contest a series of challenges, in order to prove who is the better honey badger, with Binga beating Bunga, and the contest stops. The two honey badgers start to develop feelings for each other. She soon meets Bunga's friends, the Lion Guard; Fuli is impressed that Binga can beat Bunga at everything and Beshte explains to Binga that Nirmala is healing Kion. After meeting with the Guard, Binga challenges Bunga to a snowball fight. While they have a snowball fight, Mama Binturong comes up for revenge on Bunga and threatens to hurt her, but, Bunga defeats Mama Binturong. Binga is impressed to see Bunga knock down his archenemy, Mama Binturong, and the Night Pride arrives. Mama Binturong falsely tells them that the honey badgers attacked her, but Binga tells the Night Pride it was the other way around. Mama starts running from the scene, causing Surak to notice that she is no longer limping. Ullu soon arrives with Kion's warning about the ginterbong, prompting Bunga to explain she is a binturong while also quoting Ono by saying Common knowledge, really. She even helps Bunga overwhelm Mama Binturong by using their stink on her.Poa the Destroyer[]
Binga is mentioned by Bunga when he sleeps talking saying that she is the smelliest honey badger. After he wakes up, Fuli gives him a teasing remark, and Bunga asks them to say hi to Binga for him.
Long Live the Queen[]
Along with the other animals of the Tree of Life, Binga is sad when Queen Janna completes her Circle of Life. She attends Janna's funeral along with the rest of the Tree of Life's inhabitants and also attends Rani's Coronation.Journey to the Pride Lands[]
Binga is mentioned by Bunga when he says that they become good friends. He doesn't want to leave the Tree of Life because he wants to spend more time with Binga.
Return to the Pride Lands[]
Binga stands next to Bunga as they both watch King Kion's coronation and wedding together.

- Binga is the second known honey badger to appear in the franchise.
- Binga means "the heavenly one" in Swahili, derived from Mbingu (which translates to "heavens").
- Binga's voice actor also voices Bogino and Shabaha.
