Early Life[]
He was born in Los Angeles, USA in December 8, 1994.
Career[]
Aaron Daniel Jacob is a composer, writer, director, and singer. He got his start in musical theater before shifting his focus to filmmaking in college, spending two years at NYU for Film Production and finishing his BA at Chapman in Screenwriting.
His work as a composer came naturally after growing up in a house with a television composer (Danny Jacob) and music producer (Marylata Elton). He began composing scores for his own short films through high school. In college, he was asked to compose the scores for his colleagues' thesis films, many of which went on to festival acclaim. In the same year, Aaron received Craft Awards in Music for two NYU thesis films, Stevie's Aliens directed by Austin S. Harris, and Me, Myself, and Will directed by Will Thede.
He continued to develop his compositional skills while working as a music editor on Disney TV Animation shows with his father. Aaron would contribute his own work to episodes of Milo Murphy's Law as an additional music composer, cementing the start of his professional career.
Outside of being a composer, Aaron is an accomplished session singer. His voice has appeared on various Disney TV Animation shows, notably Disney XD's Phineas and Ferb, Milo Murphy's Law, and Disney Junior's Sofia the First. He has written and directed several successful short films. Some highlights include the proof of concept short film Knight Watch starring Carolina Ravassa (Overwatch, Hispanglosaxon) and Bex Taylor-Klaus (Voltron, The Killing, Scream the Series), Paralysis starring Amber Grace (Away) and Dom Fera (YouTube's DomincFear), and Riley starring Bex Taylor-Klaus and Vincent Martella (Phineas and Ferb, The Walking Dead, Everybody Hates Chris).
Aaron is the Co-Founder and Artistic Director of Debatable Productions, a company that provides film and theatre production opportunities to youth and young adults. He also works as the Script Coordinator for the Culver City office of Original Force 3D Animation.
